Kerry’s roles at Springboard include guiding clients through the product development process as well as shepherding new business development. He has been both an executive manager and a working engineer for over 40 years. During his corporate career, Kerry founded three start-ups, worked for another start-up, and has led product management teams in product development for leading medical corporations, including Bayer Corporation and Becton-Dickenson. In addition to his corporate roles, Kerry has been affiliated as a consultant with several prominent Midwest companies and universities in roles related to the licensing of intellectual property and commercialization. He has managed numerous distinct product development projects from concept through launch. Kerry brings an extraordinary depth of experience to any engineering product issue, including manufacturing experience and project oversight. The on-site nature of his manufacturing experience gives Kerry both supply chain and problem resolution skills. Through his corporate and academic roles, he has continued to develop prototypes into viable, marketable products. He graduated from Columbia University with Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and from Wabash College with Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics.

In addition to his role as Springboard’s specialist in Additive Manufacturing and general manufacturing process selection, Bob heads up project teams and supplies hands-on engineering expertise to clients. His roles include guiding clients through technical jams to innovation; providing engineering support and consultation for clients; finding vendors who can offer value-added options; and offering process design and improvement based on his manufacturing expertise. During his corporate career, Bob has successfully lead product management teams in the automotive, fire fighting, and military equipment industries. He worked for the Robert Bosch Corporation in a number of engineering positions for various products including: brake vacuum booster design, gasoline fuel rail design, and gasoline fuel injectors. He continues to work with Bosch in a consultation role. He headed up the nozzle design division for industry leading fire equipment manufacturer Elkhart Brass Mfg. Co., Inc. Early in his career Bob managed projects in welded armor components and provided testing for nuclear submarine power plants. Bob is a career engineer with 20 years of experience. He holds Licensed Professional Engineer credentials in the state of Michigan and is the local chapter secretary of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.
